Prior to being Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Utah Tech University Jennifer served as the Title IX Coordinator and Director of Compliance for University of Wisconsin-River Falls. In this role, Jennifer was also the institution’s ADA Coordinator for Students, oversaw its student conduct office, and supervised violence prevention efforts on campus.
Before her work in higher education, Jennifer acted as associate general counsel for the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, where she worked with a large team of investigators, advised on state and federal laws, and acted as a conciliator to resolve cases with probable cause findings.
After law school, Jennifer clerked for a state appellate court and then joined a law firm, where she gained extensive experience in civil litigation, including in employment disputes. In addition to her legal background, Jennifer also training in transformative mediation.
Jennifer earned her JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and her Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Marquette University.
